Severe Thunderstorms Possible

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of the area, with storms expected to develop after 10 p.m. Thursday night. The storms could bring heavy rain, hail, damaging winds, and lightning.

After a hot and humid August, September is expected to bring a much-needed change in weather.
